If you have young children, Maisonette is probably familiar to you. With its unbearably cute-meets-chic curated selection of Oeuf baby clothes, Maileg mice (my favorite), Coral & Tusk throw pillows, and tulle princess tents, it’s a go-to for unique gifts and quarantine diversions (this was one of ours). It also offers inspiring lifestyle content, such as craft projects, kid’s room decor ideas, and the kind of helpful tips that modern parents appreciate.
As far as jewelry, you expect some whimsical unicorny things for little girls (and that’s certainly available). What you don’t expect? A really well-made mommy-and-me line made in sterling silver and gems (nary a rhinestone crystal in sight!), which includes charm bracelets and mix-and-match charms, a couple of necklaces for minis (ages 4 and up), and, perhaps more importantly, a number of sweetly priced stylish jewelry designs for Mom.
This is because Maisonette founders, Vogue alumnae Sylvana Ward Durrett and Luisana Mendoza Roccia, tapped Greek-born, Brussels-based fine jewelry designer Katerina Marmagioli to design the collection.
